Use it when

Equip it before the region whose Guardian is the run's remaining obstacle.

Limit

It contributes little in ordinary rooms, so do not equip it early when reaching the Guardian is still unreliable.

If it is absent

Use Luckier Tooth when ordinary rooms are consuming more Life than the Guardian.

When to replace it

At the next keepsake cabinet, replace it after its limited guardian effect has been consumed and another guardian remains.
