Chapter 21 of 24 · Finish every remaining objective
Finish trials, bounties, and remaining systems
Complete each challenge family in prerequisite order while using its rewards on the remaining completion goals.
Do these first
Full steps belowFinish finite challenges before prestige spending
The main story is complete and challenge systems can be approached without delaying core progression.
Trials and bounties unlock in chains. Finishing available lower requirements first reveals later work and avoids farming a reward that another system will supply.
Clear the remaining challenge systems
- Activate the Pitch-Black Stone
Complete Abyssal Insight after receiving the Stone from Chaos. Use the linked requirements if the recipe has not appeared.
- Complete fixed trials before random trials
Fixed trials teach the weapon and Boons they supply while providing predictable Star Dust. Leave all-random streak objectives until their explicit post-ending prerequisites are met.
- Clear available Testaments by weapon
Use each required weapon at the stated Fear and route. Spend Nightmare only after checking the remaining Testament demands for that weapon.
- Buy functional system upgrades
Finish tool upgrades, Familiar bonds, Arcana ranks, Keepsakes, route shops, fountains, and resource systems before ranks or cosmetics that change no progression state.
- Close finite collections before repeatable prestige
Use the achievement and prophecy pages to distinguish a finite unlock from an endlessly repeatable or cosmetic sink.
Separate trials, Testaments, ranks, and repeatable work
- Abyssal Insight activates the Pitch-Black Stone after Chaos provides it.
- Chaos Trials award Star Dust and can supply a fixed setup or, later, random conditions.
- Ranks and cosmetics belong after combat and story requirements unless a prophecy or achievement names them.
If a supplied trial setup feels unfamiliar
When a challenge does not appear, open its incantation, prophecy, or achievement page and complete the first unmet prerequisite. Do not substitute repeated random runs for a missing system unlock.
