Do these first

Full steps below
  1. Let the early Olympian chain expand naturally
  2. Open the three later Underworld gods through their own gates
  3. Unlock Hera and Ares through Surface progress
  4. Know the Underworld friend regions
  5. Know the Surface friend regions
  6. Choose encounter aid for the current build

Meet each god when the game opens the gate

Both routes are open, so the remaining Olympians and region-specific encounters can join the normal run pool.

Late gods and field allies do not share one random global pool. Their first appearances depend on route progress, earlier gods, or a particular region.

Know what field aid can change

  • Apollo opens the first night. Demeter and Poseidon can follow Apollo. Hestia requires both, and Aphrodite requires Demeter, Poseidon, and Hestia.
  • Zeus first becomes eligible after three completed nights. Accept Zeus's first boon, then wait through the immediately following night. From the second later night onward, Hephaestus is guaranteed at the start of an Underworld night until you accept his first boon. Hermes also requires Zeus and at least two entries to Oceanus.
  • Hera enters the pool after Unraveling a Fateful Bond cures the Surface ward. Ares enters after you have reached the Guardian at the Summit once.

Open the remaining gods and ally encounters

  1. Let the early Olympian chain expand naturally

Take each newly available god at least once. Apollo leads to Demeter and Poseidon, those two lead to Hestia, and those three lead to Aphrodite. Do not spend rerolls trying to force a god whose prerequisite has not happened yet.

  2. Open the three later Underworld gods through their own gates

After three completed nights, Zeus can receive his first forced opening when the weather gate allows it. Accept Zeus's first boon, then wait through the immediately following night. From the second later night onward, Hephaestus is guaranteed at the start of an Underworld night until you accept his first boon. Hermes separately becomes eligible after Zeus plus at least two Oceanus entries. Hephaestus and Hermes are not a strict order after Zeus.

  3. Unlock Hera and Ares through Surface progress

Hera first appears after the Surface ward is cured. Ares first appears after you have entered the Summit Guardian room once. Until those events happen, neither god belongs in a planned build.

  4. Know the Underworld friend regions

Arachne appears in Erebus, Narcissus in Oceanus, Echo in the Fields of Mourning after you have reached that region's Guardian, and Hades in Tartarus. Artemis can begin appearing in Erebus after the early Olympian introductions are far enough along.

  5. Know the Surface friend regions

Medea appears in the City of Ephyra. Circe and Dionysus appear in the Rift of Thessaly. Athena appears on Mount Olympus. Icarus begins in Thessaly after repeated visits and can appear later on Olympus. Heracles can cross several Surface regions as his meetings progress.

  6. Choose encounter aid for the current build

When a friend room appears, open that character’s page and compare the offered aid with your weapon, current Boons, and survival needs. Prefer effects that strengthen the attacks you already use.

If a god or ally does not appear

If a god or friend has not appeared, check the linked requirement before repeating the route. Continue another named objective when the gate is unmet. When the gate is met, combine that search with a resource, relationship, or clear objective because the exact room still depends on the run.
